Skincare Question of the Month: What's a good moisturizer to wear during the day that won't break me out?

Absolutely one with sunscreen in it! Many products these days combine both a moisturizer and a sunscreen saving you a step in the morning. You have to be careful though, as many heavy emollients and some sunscreen ingredients can cause acne or rosacea to flare.

Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 is one of my long term favorites. Inexpensive and zinc-oxide based, this sunscreen won't turn your clothes yellow, either. It is meant to be a facial moisturizer, but I slather it on my neck, chest, and arms, too.

Then I follow the Eucerin with my own moisturizing sunscreen on my face, the tinted version to provide a little color and a little coverage. This one is silicone-based, not petrolatum-based, so it feels silky and won't clog pores.
