Orange Smoothie Recipe

 

This is my new favorite. I'll never give up my green smoothie for breakfast, but this is a great mid-afternoon boost, plus the cheerful color brightens my January.

1 large carrot, scrubbed but not peeled if it's organic, cut into chunks

2 oranges, peeled

juice of 1/2 a lime

1/2 inch of ginger, peeled

2 tbsp of flax seed oil

Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy.
